My Training Background
Hello, my name is Junne and I am a dog trainer in Oregon! I train with primarily puppies and young dogs. I use science based positive reinforcement training methods. I've been doing this for 3 years now. I'm always growing and actively educating myself. Mine and my dog's learning never stops! My mission is to help puppy parents get the resources they need to create a long-lasting harmonious relationship with their dog.
My training philosophy:
Being open to learning about all aspects of training is key in finding what works for you. Dog training needs to be done with lots of compassion and understanding. Body language, learning theory and love is what makes a training experience with me successful!

EXPERIENCE
2020-2022
Rover Dog Walker
I got my start on the Rover app, doing daily walks as well as in home check-ins. Through word of mouth I built a client base of consistent walks throughout the week! With most of my clients I was doing 3 structured walks per week.
2021
The Balanced Dog
I started working for a dog training company as their social media manager, after a short time I became more involved with the dogs that were there for board and train. The owner primarily worked with senior and reactive dogs. It was the flame that sparked my interest in dog training!
2022
Puparazzi
I went on to teach puppy preschool and basic training classes at Puparazzi Beaverton. I started out shadowing the other trainers there and then began teaching my own set of classes. These classes were mainly focused on young dogs and the beginning steps of training.
2021-2023

I started my business here in Beaverton in 2021 while also teaching classes. I began with doing primarily structured walks. I moved on to private training sessions and have now perfected a 7 week curriculum for laying the groundwork with training. I work mostly in the clients home or in a neutral meeting space. While my start in training was with other trainers that used balanced training methods, I branched off and did a lot of self-educating and research to get where I am today. I have seen amazing progress in the dogs I work with using R+ training!
2023-2024
Apprentiships
I started with Tulsa Pack Athletics in November of 2023 in their apprenticeship program! I learned so so much doing this and it has further my knowledge of dogs and training more than I could have hoped. During my time with TPA I learned everything from canine learning theory, to the humane hierarchy, to patterning and a lot more! It has inspired me to dive into virtual training. I am currently enrolled in the Freed By Training Mentorship as well!
CREDENTIALS
I am Red Cross certified in Cat and Dog CPR. safety is something I take incredibly seriously while working with other people's animals!
I have completed the Tulsa Pack Athletics Apprenticeship program as a part of my continued education!
I am certified through the AKC to teach CGC, Urban CGC, Trick dog, and S.T.A.R Puppy classes. As well as VHMP & VHMA (Virtual Home Manners, adult and puppy). You can find me on the AKC marketplace here!
I am currently enrolled in the Freed By Training Mentorship program and will be apart of that for the next few months!
